You'd rather be called by your middle name?

My name Sufyan and most people call me Yan. When I was a kid my neighbors called me by my nickname. The nickname has something to do with fate or fortune. It was fortune I survived from often-ill condition when I was 1 or 2 years of age.
Yanzalong that I use here is also has meaning. Yan is how people call me and Along means lucky. So, Yanzalong is "Yan is lucky."
What about you mylotters? Do you prefer to be called by your first, middle, or last name?

I like to be called Ocean..but I might change it some other day. I get tired of my same names.

Ocean means a good thing. Blue marine is from the ocean. It is a stone that is believed to bring calmness and peacefullness.

When I was really young my family called me by my nickname. As I got older my friends called me by a nickname they gave me. Now, everyone calls me by my first name (Michele), except online. Online, I am Shelly.

I only had a nickname once in my life but mom made sure that it didn't last, she told the girls to call me by my given name.

I prefer to be called by my first name and I don't have a nickname. I have a middle name but never use it.

I prefer my friends to call me with my nickname. With others I prefer my first name.
