My 5 year old laptop still works well, is a bit slow but very much usable. One funny thing I've noticed is that when connected to the charger it charges only till 79% and then stops. Overall battery life is still ok and nothing to worry about. I have a Samsung laptop running Windows 10. Any suggestion about what to do.

It was common for laptop batteries to become inefficient over time, although these days they tend to be more stable.

You're right. Just feels weird when the charging stops at one particular percentage!

the same thing happens with my phone. but then, maybe because it's an old basic nokia, and the battery is also 5 yrs old now.
