No Church Tomorrow

I was getting ready to head to bed shortly, when I looked at my e-mails and saw one from the church.
Not much cancels church in our neck of the woods outside of a blizzard, and it's too early in the year for that to happen.
However, it was baptism Sunday tomorrow and as they were getting the baptistery ready - a tub they fill, there was a malfunction and the church flooded as a result. So church is canceled, and will meet on Wednesday night to set everything back in order for next Sunday's service.
So it looks like I'll be watching church on TV tomorrow morning. It will be a very different Sunday morning for me.
Do you attend Sunday services? Thanks for reading.

Oh my gosh, that was something they didn't expect! It will be all right next week, once the church dries thoroughly:)

Sorry you have to miss church tomorrow. I know that you really enjoy attending.
I haven't attending church services in years. I did enjoy some of the services but each church I attended left a sour taste in my mouth. So, my worshipping comes from my heart.

@just4him it is starting off good. The rain started up again, but it is forecasted to do that. But, it is warm outside and I have the windows open. Nice to have fresh air in the house.

Members didn't pray enough for the occasion ( just kidding
) There's a reason for everything that happens. Yes all of us in the family are members of a church and are church going Christians.

Yes, especially since finding the new church we have been attending almost 2 months or so now. Sorry to hear about your Baptismal font, and hope that things can resume back to normal soon.

I am not as faithful as I once was, but yes, we do attend. Our pastor has even held services while having a medical emergency and gone straight to the ER afterwards. On the other hand I understand a flood is kind of a no go for services.

That's great. I did have a good Sunday. I watched a couple TV evangelists. Not the same for sure, but at least the messages were good ones.
