Are you an overprotective person?

Have you ever stopped to think about how you usually protect people? Especially the adults/older and children in your family?
Would you say that you comply with what is expected of your person-related role or do you really exaggerate in the role because you feel better this way?

I'm a mixture of both, I am always watching or wanting to know where someone is, but if someone gets a little bruise or did something stupid enough to break a bone, of course, I will take care of them but accidents happen.

I would say I care about my friends that care about me and my cat she basically takes care of herself, but, when she comes over and wants her love and pets then I want to give it to her. If I cannot find her in the apartment for some reason I go looking for her and she eventually turns up from a special hiding place she likes to go to for her time and I tell her I am happy to see her.

I am not an over protective person. I think we should not over protect our children, because later on they cannot anything independently.
So it is better not to over protect children ....
