Do you answer phone calls at mealtime?

For me, mealtime is something sacred and phone calls are only answered after I finish my meals. Well... Of course an exception is made if there is anything urgent to be solved (but other than that, no... you'll have to wait ). And you?

Only if it is an important call; I will. If it is from a telemarketer I will not answer it.

Since I`m at home I do answer phone calls even if I`m having my meal time but of course I make sure that I don`t speak on the phone with food in my mouth

Similar to you, meal times are sacred so I make sure that I inform people that I cannot be reached during lunch or dinner.

Whether or not I answer a call during mealtimes depends on the call. I will often send the call to voicemail. While my father was unwell, any calls from family were immediately answered....no matter what the time.

Yes, I always pick up the call. And if I am still having my meal, I will ask the caller to call me again after some mins.
