What's with the bottle?

I’m not usually a fan of graffiti but I was intrigued by this ‘work of art’ that I saw in Dublin and snapped from the car window. The guy looks like a motor-cycle rider but he’s sitting on a lawn-mower. It looks like a little tuft of grass in front of him. I thought maybe he was going to blow up the mower as it wouldn’t cut the last bit of grass but the surrounding terrain isn’t lawn so that rules that theory out. And I don’t know what the bottle signifies, if anything. Is it his water bottle or is he going to blow up the lawn-mower? Any ideas?

He just wants a sip of water now and then.

It seems a strange thing to put in his painting.

Lol! I love this imaginative post. That is quite well done, actually. -- My theory -- The guy is an astronaut and they're trying to get the planet to grow plants. So far, just this little tuft of grass, but he's hopeful because he has a lawn mower. He's sitting there with a water bottle to nurture the plants...

Thanks! This is really fun to see how many different people come up with different stories. :-)

Looks like he's in a desolate land and the only living thing around is the tuft of grass. Maybe the water signifies life?

Maybe. Puzzling over these sorts of questions can fill in a lot of time, can't it?

My first and only response is that of a water bottle with a straw. Perhaps he used it to water that tuft of weeds that look so desolate in that setting. Btw, I loved Dublin!!!

Yes, it's got a funny straw thing. Not funny I guess as I've plenty of water bottles that look like this.

He looks like an astronaut, which makes it even weirder.

@JudyEv my first thought was it was a squeeze bottle oiler for the mower cause it looks similar.

@louievill Maybe it is. It seems to have a prominent place in the picture.

Maybe the lawn-mower is very high-powered.

I see an astronaut on a lawn mower. Can't interpret the patch of grass and water botle though.

I can't understand why I didn't think of an astronaut. I was thinking motor-cycle rider but it is more like an astronaut.

@judyev Looks like he's anticipating the end times. Maybe he's constipated and has sat on the toilet so long that its turned into a lawnmower. Poor man.

I have no idea the purpose for that water bottle. It does make for an interesting conversation though.

@just4him I guess 'pleased' would be a pretty close translation.
