Back to big laptop

I got my ethernet cord today so I could use my big laptop since it runs faster and I am happier to be using it now. The wifi in it seems not to work for some reason so I went and bought a $6 ethernet cord on Amazon that was 10 feet so it would reach across the living room where I sit and now I am happy to be using it. I like my mini laptop but I will use that as needed and on the go. It runs a lot slower but I needed something to run a bit faster. I am good now.

That really is nice that now you can use the large laptop.

Isn't it so nice when all technological products are working? Using seems to occur quite often. Still there should be feelings of blessings. Take care.

Actually I used an app that was able to detect other users of WiFi in and around where I live in the general area and I found out that my immediate next door neighbor was using the same Internet Services Providers as I use and his modem, also a WiFi modem, in fact is overlapping mine in signal strength, so I do know for a fact that I need to go from being Wireless as I am right now to being Wired as I can connect to an Ethernet cable any time I choose and that will not only give me a stronger signal, it will prevent radio interference. But still, the signal overlap can slow down the bit rate so I might just call AT&T and tell them I need a new modem and ask for a free exchange if possible.

I have a 14 YO laptop which used to be so fast for me once, then suddenly one day, it decided to be sluggish (after being terrific for about 10 yrs). I wish I could fix it, really open it and give all the chips or whatever inside the machine a really good shake. Your discussion reminded me of how I often used a 16 feet ethernet cable whenever I used that laptop.
