The weather here was cooler and a perfect time for a good long walk. We went to our favorite park and my better half found a comfortable bench to sit on while I walked. He had his latest Economist with him. It was nice and cool enough under the trees.
I noticed trees shedding their leaves in the park area before I got to the walking trail. It was odd because they were beautiful and green all summer. They weren't changing colors but leaves were simply falling to the ground. Other trees are still a beautiful green. Only in one area were leaves falling. We've had plenty of rain so I don't believe they are dying.
I had a nice walk and saw squirrels, chipmunks and birds. I picked up a few black walnuts that were laying on the ground. When I got back I found my better half in conversation with a young man. He was telling my better half his life story, which was quiet interesting. He was divorced and worried about his young son. I'm not out going like my better half. I would have sat and read my magazine and only nodded to people passing by. Anyway it was a good day. How was yours?

So glad you had a lovely day Ruby..it really sounds beautiful.
It was a lovely day here until a bit later around 4pm when the wind picked up and a cold wind blew threw here.
But that is Colorado and how it is sometimes.
Didnt do as much as I could have today, but I did get out of this place for a while walking by myself..was nice.

We've had a constant rain, today. Tomorrow, showers are in the forecast, also. Being out walking on a nice day, is such good therapy! My husband talks to everyone, while I'm afraid to carry on a conversation, with people I don't know.

@kobesbuddy It doesn't scare me but it makes me feel like I'm poking my nose in someone's business and I just can't do it. I came back while they were talking and this young man was telling my better half about what university he graduated from and what he majored in. Where he is working, about his divorce and all sorts of things. It makes me uncomfortable to listen to what's none of my business.

Sorry about the rain We've had a few showers. Wish we could send it to California. They need it desperately.my better half has never met a stranger and it amazes how people will stop and talk with him. I'm not as layed back as he is.

@jobelbojel I've never ran or jogged, I just like walking out in nature. I hate a tread mill, but I use one once in awhile in cold weather.

@Courtlynn It is devastating, so many homes burned and lives lost. it's a nightmare. I feel so sorry for those poor people.

Same with my place, I just love our village. Though I visit the metropolis once or twice a year but I will not exchange the beautiful scene we got here.

My day is fine so far. Not much happening. Did some water coloring to relax and then watched some TV afterwards. Now, I'm here in the site ready to interact with everyone.
