The Following list of character traits is one I have generated for writers who are creating fictional characters, to enable them to easily develop appearances and personality traits, strengths, weaknesses, etc. and keep a record of those characteristics. Not every trait will be used in a given story, and only major central characters might need full detailed profiles. If someone just delivers pizza or mail but has no other importance in the story no such details ae required at all. I developed and modified the list from character generation sheets in many varied role playing game instruction manuals with several changes and additions of my own. To test the list I have filled in the characteristics as they apply to me. Feel free to copy/paste the piece, delete my answers and add your own or use the clean sheets in building characters for your own stories.
