Is there a correct age to learn something new?

This kind of question usually comes to people who already have a consolidated professional career, but who doesn't feel happier about it and decides to learn something new (or something that they have given up and want to pick up where they left off). What do you think about? Is it worth trying?

I think when one is a child they have the capacity to learn new things. I find as an adult I do learn new things but takes me longer to process them.

You can always learn, but I did hear somewhere that language is learned faster at a younger age, but I don't know.
