I just love the song . .
"Jump" by the band Van Halen was a super hit in 1983.
This was about the time my first two children were already born and we would sing along to the song in the car on family holiday travels.
It all came about with the FIRST JUMP dad did, and after that it became a holiday signature. Every holiday we would be sure to take a JUMP on the beach as part of our photographic memories, and still to this day, my family are doing what they call the Van Halen's Jump to express their super energetic love of life!
You might be familiar with the lyrics and just to entice you to sing along on this great Friday in November, here are a few to get you started.
"I ain't the worst that you've seen.
Oh can't you see what I mean?
Might as well jump. Jump!
Might as well jump.
Go ahead, jump. Jump!
Go ahead, jump"
Kalimera Katerina, Kalimera everyone else. Have a Wonderful Day.

David Lee Roth always rubbed me the wrong way, but this is the one DLR-era Van Halen song I can tolerate. I prefer Sammy Hagar (the "Sam Halen" days)...not that I'm that interested in them one way or the other.

I do remember that song. I had the album back in the 80s.
