Nothing like vacuuming a Black Carpet!

So someone walked in the store today with dirty/muddy boots,....nothing like trying to vacuum dried mud off a short fibre carpet. In the end I decided to get on my hands and knees and use one of those green scrubbies, slightly wet, while someone else vacuumed as I did so. It didn't turn out to bad ....Would there have been a better way??

With a short fiber carpet, it's almost impossible to vacuum mud up. What you did is very hard work, but that's the only way I'd have done it. This might sound silly, but I use 'Spray & Wash' laundry spray, on different dirty spots or stains. Gently rub it into the spots, then I vacuum the area thoroughly after it dries.

Mud is messy and I just might have had to let it dry and then vacuum. If it's in a store however I guess it needs to be taken care of promptly.
