A month ago, my 3rd Brother gave us a Water Dispenser because they have a new one. I don't like the idea because for sure it will consume a lot of power and we are saving. But as the days we are using it, I find it very complacent in everyday use.
First, I can make my coffee in an instant without heating a hot water.
Second, I can have an instant cold water when I feel so thirsty.
And lastly, we can drink clean water every day.
Do you find this practical?

We have one at home but we do not use the heater function as it consumes a lot of electricity.

same here. when we were still using it, we don't plug it in. most of us are okay with water that's not cold. for hot water, we boil in a kettle and pour in 2 thermoses.

@hereandthere
If that is the case, you are better off selling it since you are not using it.

@JustBhem no, it's not. we just fill it with tap water and leave it on the kitchen table.
maybe you can save a little on electricity by unplugging the dispenser at night? then whoever wakes up first in the morning plugs it in.

Yes we have a water dispenser but different from the one in the picture. I find it very convenient, the one we have has 4 temperature options - cold, hot, warm, and room temp.

@hereandthere you can read this article
Can re-boiled water be harmful? Find out how the chemistry of water changes when you boil and re-boil water and how this reaction could lead to cancer.

@JustBhem yes, I agree with you on that. No need to boil water and wait for minutes to boil.
