Dessert before dinner?

November 20, 2017 4:59pm CST
Have you ever - for some reason (not a very specific one) - already reversed the order of the dishes? I remember when I was a kid I did this a lot. My parents say that this was one of my bad habits more complicated to exterminate.

Hey, as the saying goes, life is uncertain so eat dessert first!

Here usually we will just have dessert after a meal. If we have it before, perhaps we will feel full and we can have a proper meal any more.

I don't know whether this is a bad habit. If you eat sweets before a meal, you'll eat less for dinner. It could be something useful if you just want to lose weight.

I have let my kids do it now and then but not often, just for a special occasion.

Right now, I am having coffee and apple fritter at Tim Horton's. Supper will be later. Dessert first sounds good to me.
