More often than not, I watch movies from the community channel but I cannot complete watching the entire film in one sitting. This morning, I checked on channel 99 and it showed the last part of Spiderman, the Homecoming. I said that I have not watched the start of the movie and I always see the ending with the credits.
After the Spiderman movie, the next film was Transformers. It is the latest so I immediately sat down to watch it. I was talking alone when the protagonist Mark Wahlberg, did some action with Bumblebee and that young girl who has no family. I was shouting alone when the other transformers were fighting each other and the military men were also shooting at these machines.
Then I told my son the film was more than 2 hours. I completely understood the film. Based too from the last part, I think there will be another chapter of this sci-fi movie.
Do you watch films from beginning to end, or you start at the middle then watch it all over again? I do sometimes.

@ridingbet nope, sadly... i think that as a long time ago.. now we can't do that since seating is numbered and people will be occupying them in the next schedule

is that how the cinemas in your place still work? you can stay to watch the next screening? i think in the capital city, all seats should be filled before they start rolling the movie.

when Robinson's will open next year, i will enjoy watching movies again because there will be 6 cinemas. the only movie house here was gone because of the emergence of the DVDs.

@ridingbet Can you record the movie so that you can watch it later? This is what I used to do, I do not like to see movies if not from the start.

@LadyDuck the DVD player is connected to the big TV that my brother sent. the films are shown through the community channel and we use a smaller TV. that is why i cannot record or copy the movie.
just now, they are replaying Geo-storm again and i watched some scenes again.

when i watch movies in DVD, i also do that. i pause the film and get back to it when i am free. but i don't do that when i watch from the community channel. movies are shown in succession so if a movie is presented i have to see the start; otherwise, if i see the middle, i have to wait for the next time it will be reshown again.

before, we could watch a movie in a cinema several times in just one sitting. now, i believe the seats should be vacated for the next movie-goers for the next screening.
i recall when i had a misunderstanding with my sister, i went to a movie house at 12 noon and left when it was 8pm. i also walked home at 2 and 1/2 kilometers.

Yes, that's how it works now. So you need to start the movie depending on what time it will be started.

but what if you watch the middle of the movie, do you repeat the movie, if you are in a cinema?

I usually try to start at the beginning and if I'm interested I finish it. I watch Stranger things 2 series first that I need to go back to season 1 to understand the series

i and my sister have some favorite series that we need to watch. Blue Blood is shown every Friday night at 11:40PM so we don't watch it on that time. i want it if the replays are in the morning of any day

I have to watch it from the beginning. It sounds like you had a good time watching Transformers.

yes i did. i completely understood the story line. when i watched the middle, i always asked my son why Optimus Prime became the antagonist. and why there were knights of the round table.
