Last summer I visited a friend in Germany. He lives in a small remote village. It was very beautiful, except for the weather. I spent one night and then went on my way to Bosnia.
When it was time for dinner, hes wife served delicious food. The only thing missing was the white bread. I don’t like the taste of brown bread. I asked if they had white bread, and he asked why would you want white bread, with a surprise on his face. He told me that white bread is rarely sold where he lives. It was the only time I remember when I ate brown bread.
Do you eat brown or white bread?

i like bread and switch to white (which we call 'tasty'), wheat, multi-grain, raisin bread, monggo (mung bean) bread, and the yeast-raised filipino bread called pandesal because in our neighborhood there's malunggay (moringa) pandesal and kalabasa (squash) pandesal. we eat them for breakfast or merienda (snack) since lunch and dinner is rice.

@Madshadi i think the white square sliced bread was called 'tasty' while the white sliced bread with the rounded top was called pan americano.

I eat both. But I still prefer white prefer over brown bread. Brown bread is a wheat bread right?

I eat multi-grain so I guess that is in between brown and white. Here dark brown bread can taste of molasses which I find strong in bread.

I eat white bread more often and they're available everywhere here, but I think brown one tastes better and is more healthy too.
