Is Trump a Racist, Insensitive or just plain Stupid?

"Stupid is as stupid does"~ Forrest Grump After so many slurs and condesending remarks about minorities. Here is the latest of Trump's shameful behavior. Navajo native Americans played a crucial part in World War II as "code talkers", using their navajo dialect in transmitting communications that prevented Germans listening in from taking advantage of information that was being transmitted. This was suppose to have been a solemn and dignified ceremony honoring these war heroes but Trump being Trump couldn't resist the opportunity to take another dig at his political opponents calling senator Elizabeth Warren "Pochahontas". A portrait of Andrew Jackson was also behind the lectern. (one comment stated it was like honoring Jeff Sessions in front of a portrait of Bobby Seale, the founder of the revolutionary black nationalist party, the Black Panthers) President Jackson called for the relocation of Native American tribes from their homes to federal gov't reservation to open land for new white settlers. Over 4,000 Native Americans died of cold, hunger and disease during the march known as "the trail of tears" to their new settlement One You tube video shows Trump fidgeting on the side and forcing a "fake" smile on his face while one of the honoree was giving a speech (he talk for more than 10 minutes). If one could read Trump's mind, he probably was thinking, "Get off the stage, this is my show." Photo image: Wikimedia Commons
Navajo Nation President Russell Begaye and actor Sonny Skyhawk discuss Trump's reference to Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) as "Pocahontas."

@Hatley _The power of media. Trump is a showman and plays to the audience. He tells them what they like to hear even if he knows it would be impossible to keep his election promises.

Most of the "sh*t" in those countries came from US meddling.

@Hatley I'd have to see him interact with people at his ground zero to know if he's actually a racist pig.

The relocators are not considering the U.S as their homeland and are sending their earnings without spending in U.S to their native countries. Hence the problem. Mr. Trump in my view is a reformer for U.S. whose people were totally misguided by earlier Presidents.

This is like the "pot calling the kettle black". Let us not forget that the US is the land of immigrants. Trump's ancestors were not native Americans who were already living in the country before the arrival of European immigrants. As for the foreigners remitting money back home to their native country, they work hard for that money. Consider too that many of the countries these foreigners came from were exploited by large US corporations. Taking out their natural resources for a pittance to fuel American industry while leaving behind ravage environments that future generation of these people will be suffering from. As you are from India, I'm sure you are aware of the Bhopal disaster that was cause by Union Carbide, an American company.

@JamesHxstatic I think this is not the opinion of the majority of the U.S people. They are now feeling it and understanding him.

There are many such views about him. But not to forget he has been elected by the strongest democracy in this world. Only at the end of tenure, one will be in a right position to analyze his report card. But for sure, he is every now and then in limelight and talks and most of the time in negative ones.
