Hurray, i was able to book the cheap flights.. although not so cheap, it is cheap compared to usual prices 
Our trip is in June 2018 though, still lots of time to prepare and save money
Any idea or tips how to save money in Hong Kong? or sights to see?

Wow! You really booked the flight so early I think living in Hong Kong may be the most expensive since the hotel is small but still charge high compares to other places. And I think its traffic expensive is also expensive and I think it is almost the same like Japan. Eating is OK and the food is delicious. I like Ocean Park more than Disneyland in Hong Kong. Disneyland is small and crowded and I don't like it. Of course my son especially likes the science museum there. There are lots to explore in Hong Kong

That is so awesome! I have heard there are some beautiful sights in Hong Kong. Perhaps ask some people who have been there or live there some places to see and go to that isn't a tourist attraction, those are the best places!

I am sure you will enjoy visiting Hongkong, we lived there for almost three years in the nineties and later visited again in 2005 and by then it had changed somewhat. It is a wonderful place and I always miss the lanes in Central and De voux road where I used pick up clothes for my children and other stuff . I have beautiul memories if the place.
