Sneaked a Peek

This is the plate I painted at the art studio the other day. The other side I painted lime green, and it has a bit of texture with dots of darker green in the lime paint. You may even see a border of lime in this picture because I brushed it over the side.
I also picked up my friend's pottery, and I really want to peek to see what hers looks like, but I won't. The bag is just a regular brown paper bag, but it is stapled shut. She might have me open it just to send her a picture (she won't be able to get it for two more weeks), but until she does I will be good to not sneak a peek.
How many of you are peekers? Did you snoop for Christmas presents as a child? My sister was really bad at that. It's like when someone says don't look down, I want to look down!
*I used lace to get that look on the plate.

That is a lovely plate Ambie! So nice you can make those at the studio..does it have to be baked and glazed over to keep the pattern on there?
I would be a peeker if I could.

I love your plate, very unique! 
I'm a complete snooper. I always had an ear open at this time of the y ear for conversations that might include what anyone is buying me. And I have to admit, I have unwrapped gifts once, and always shake and rattle them to get an idea of what's under the wrapping.

@AmbiePam You should have been around at Easter time. My 3 brothers and I would all set out baskets out on the dining room table, and I'd be up multiple times during the night and would sample from the boys' baskets and not touching the candy in mine. So when we all got up in the morning it always appeared that I got more because I ate so much of theirs! It wasn't fair so my mother started putting all of the candy in 1 big fruit salad type of bowl for the entire family.

That's a lovely design you've transferred to the plate. I sneaked a look at a Christmas present once. I was about 10. It was a book and I was a fast reader so I read it. In those days you only got one present so come Christmas it was pretty sad because I'd read the book and got nothing else! That cured me of peeking once and for all.

Very nice! I can see the hint of green on the edge. I never did peek, but there was one year when there was a long table set up in the living room and all the toys were on them, and my parents weren't in sight. I quickly hurried away so they never found out I saw them all. I didn't take a close look, but I did see a couple Barbie's and Ken and friends. I did get one of the Barbie's and Ken that year.
