What Is Your Favorite Sleeping Position?

Our favorite sleeping position is one that makes us comfortable resulting to a good sleep. While one finds it comfortable to sleep flat on his/her back; others prefer the "tummy-to-mattress" position. Tummy-to-mattress is my favorite sleeping position. I also feel comfortable sleeping in a fetal position. I have seen people sleeping in different awkward positions. I saw a man back in the Philippines sleeping comfortably sitting on the floor, his back on the wall. I saw a man sleeping on his back on a table comfortably while his head hang at the edge, his mouth wide open and eyes slightly open. And I also saw a man sleeping soundly and snoring in an awkward position shown in the above drawing. How about you, what is your most comfortable sleeping position?

@antonbunot no I am not afraid of ghosts. Nightmares can be due to the medical condition termed pancreatitis.

@antonbunot It is good to hear that you used to sleep on your back before marriage but now you feel comfortable sleeping on your tummy. I think you would have become used to it.

@JudyEv If one keeps changing sleeping position, he/she also dreams a lot. That's what they say.

@antonbunot Lying on your back can lead to snoring and my mother was told not to always sleep only on one side as it means the fluid in your inner ear is always to one side and can eventually affect your balance.

I'm usually a side sleeper, but I've recently been sleeping in a recliner because of shoulder surgery 7 weeks ago.

I start out on my side and then on my back and then maybe back to my side. I do that most of the night. It is very hard for my cat to sleep with me when I toss and turn so much.
