Some young people here in our place likes wearing braces some don't have problem with their teeth's alignment but maybe just wearing those braces to look cool, to look rich or make themselves cute. My youngest sister earned money from work coming from my eldest sister. She spend some of it in putting braces in her teeth. She really need braces because her teeth are not properly aligned especially her two front teeth but now they are okay. Would you like braces even if you don't have problems with your teeth just to show off?

Some of people I see just feel they are cuter with braces and they really smile wide to show everybody they are wearing braces

@LadyDuck Yeah I know that it's disgusting but they really want it to improve their appeal. I even get jealous sometimes when I see they have braces. It looks good on some. I see celebrity kids wearing braces

@averygirl72 It's a horrible fashion trend. You have to brush your teeth all the time, everything you eat shows up in the braces, disgusting.

I don't get why anyone would do that to show off or to "look rich". 
If I don't have problems with my teeth I'd rather spend the money on other things than on braces.

Yes classy. I see some they really look classy but some look nerdy. It works for some to enhance their personality and look

Some of my young relatives had braces and the process was very painful to them. They cried lots, for weeks whenever a new phase of braces was introduced. The whole thing cost more than US$ 6000 over the two year period. Anyone who wears braces just for fun is a bit mad to me, since it makes the person looks

It's common here if you go to places of rich kids here you will find many wear braces

When I was young kids hated wearing braces. I can't believe they are opting to wear these just to be cool.

I am already an adult and I was told that I needed to wear them. I recently had my wisdom tooth removed through surgery, their weird position caused my teeth to crowd. Now, I am in a dilemma because they are too expensive and I know it would hurt.
