We Have Snow

As the photo shows, we got a lot of snow yesterday. When I went to bed the totals were close to seven inches and the weather man said it would probably be more by morning.
In the photo you can also see a nice blue sky and a blazing sun, and maintenance taking care of the sidewalk immediately in front of the building.
With the fact that all the snow needs to be taken care of, the complex will have the parking lot plowed today and I will need to leave the warm confines of my apartment, and find a place to hang out for three hours, from 12:30-3.
I was thinking about going to a movie, as I did several times last year when it snowed, or the library, another option. My problem is my cold. I don't want to spread it to other people, so the theater is out. I hate the idea of going to the library, but it is the only other option, and hopefully the one I will go to doesn't have a lot of patrons at that time of day.
What I will do is take my new Chromebook with me so I can still interact here. I won't be able to work on a book but I can be here. I hope. The library should be a hotspot.
When I checked the temperature earlier we had a wind chill of -4. I'm happy that right now the temp is 9 F with no wind chill. Still very cold, but the lack of wind is a good thing.

Nice photo. Right now our snow has melted and we have warmer temps but I know there is more coming.

@just4him this year being alone I would rather not have lots of snow otherwise I could not get out of my house. Otherwise I do enjoy snow when it has first fallen especially on Christmas.

I would pick the movies over library. As you just ait and enjoy a movie. No touching anything but the seat with your bum. Lol. Plus its the movies.

Yes, but with the amount of coughing I do, no one would appreciate being interrupted by my coughing spasm. I went to the library. There weren't a lot of people, and I did stay as far from them as I could, though one family came into the children's section where I had ensconced myself.

Yes, it has and I'm loving every snowflake minute of it. I would hate rain this time of year. Fog makes it worse.

We had a little but it didn't stick around. That has happened several times. Hope it snows for Christmas but not much more than that down here in the valley.

Pretty but oh so cold. Today its still sweet roads but tomorrow it probably will snow-rain. And I am supposed to take hubby to the doc in a town just north of us. I am trying not to think about that too much. I hope you find a warm spot to park and play on the computer.

I love the library, but since I have my kindle, I hardly ever go. That is incredibly cold, so please stay warm.

Doing my best to stay warm. I don't have a Kindle, but I rarely go to the library. Usually only once a month for the Writer's Guild meetings.

I tried to hide in a corner of the library away from most of the people, though there weren't a lot there, which I was hoping for.
