Leaving a long beard

A clean shave gives a good look for a man. I regularly shave the beard. It is only when I feel body pains and feel lazy I away from this habit. Sometimes, I was thinking of using cream to remove the beard a it would be time-consuming. But, there are no Indian Rishi (saints) who are shown without a beard. Almost all Rishis do leave their beard and they even have a long beard. They do not cut even their hair and grow a long hair. They tie their hair over their head. Even most of the Scientists, explorers, Researchers, Innovators, discoverers even the western, encouraged growing long hair. Galileo, Aristotle, Philips, Newton were all having a long beard. Einstein even showed as possessing a very long hair. Most of the Ancient kings possed long hair and beard. I sometimes think there is something secret in allowing such a long hair and beard. But, modern science does not accept it and stamps it out as unhygienic and unhealthy. Most of the ladies do like only shaven beard only. Do you like having beard?
