Here is a really ODD fact, I think. My morning reading finds all sorts of ODD facts. Enrico Caruso, a very famous opera singer, in his day, wore anchovies around his neck, supposedly to protect his singing voice from the two packs of cigarettes he smoked every day. I can only imagine what he smelled like, between the anchovies and the cigarettes. I wonder how often he changed the anchovies and how he managed to wear them around his neck. Have you ever heard of such a thing?
