Taking It All So Literally

Are you like me? Do you find that ,occasionally at least, you take what people say literally. Like the newscaster just said something about it being about time for us all to hit the highways. Literally in two directions. ALL of us surely won't be taking to the highways. And, I would love to see a group of people going out on the highway and literally hitting it. Do you giggle to yourself sometimes because you take something you hear literally? Things to remember if you are traveling on the highways this holiday: Don't pass gravel trucks. Clean your windows and top off your tanks. Plot your course a head of time. Plan your trip ahead of time and drive in early morning or after the daily commute is over. Check the weather in the area you will traveling to. Stay safe and enjoy the holidays.

Enjoy your holiday too. And don't forget your digital navigator to accompany you during your trip.

I have no digital navigator and I don't go. But, this is good advice for those who do.

@sallypup but the machine must be perfect. Are you traveling this weekend?

@yanzalong You might laugh or be horrified at my vehicle. It has no digital navigator or GPS. It has no electric locks. I start the car by putting a key into its ignition. A metal key. It does have a radio and air conditioning, though.

Wow on folks not cleaning their car glass. I have seen a couple of vehicles this year that really needed their owner to get off the stick. I have learned to go out to my road and hit it- only in the winter. I stomp on the road to see if there is ice or am I just having a paranoia attack?

You make me laugh. I hate it when it snows over night or warms up and then freezes because there will probably be black ice the next morning.
