Merry Christmas To You All

I wanted to wish you all a very Merry Christmas. We had a family get together yesterday and today we will stay home, except for going over to see my parents this afternoon. My baby sister is taking them breakfast and my other sister and I will take them their dinner.
We had a nice time together yesterday. Although mama didn't understand it is Christmas , because of her Alzheimer's, she still had fun and giggled when I showed her the face on the potato salad. That was just the reaction that I wanted.
I am trying to wait on my husband and son to wake up before I head into the kitchen. My kitchen is located in the wrong place. The sound from it seems to carry into the bedrooms.
So until I can get in there and cook breakfast I will let you keep me company.

Good morning and Merry Christmas!
I'm glad that your Mama reacted the way that she did when you showed her the happy face on the salad, I know that would have really warmed your heart. That was your Mama, the rest, the confusion and forgetfulness, that is the disease.
I hope that your guys are up soon. We're up and I have to go and start the bacon and sausages. We still have our turkey to get ready and roast.
