It seems like over the next week or two, the weather will be getting a lot colder than it has been. The temperatures will be going as low as minus 30 C with the windchill. It might get a little warmer when school starts again. For the moment, that's what they're predicting. I am kind of glad that this cold weather is happening now, while the kids are home and don't have to go out for school or daycare. It looks like we might be hibernating until January 8, when school starts again. Especially if it is going to be so cold. I just feel bad for my husband, who will have to go back to work tonight or tomorrow.

Minus 30 Celsius is very cold, our temperature never went below minus 15 Celsius here. Stay warm and stay inside.

I wish it didn’t go below minus 15, but sadly it does. Now they’re saying it might go to minus 40 tomorrow night.

Our weather turned almost that cold last night, and this morning its awfully cold outside. I'm glad that I am off of work today, going out will have to wait until much later on in the day.

@dodo19 Dominique, it is also getting cold here now so winter is really upon us. It does not get as cold as it does where you are but it gets cold. I have to go out today so have to bundle up.

@peachpurple For the moment, yes I am. I was working, but that was a contract, which ended. So, now, I'm back to being a housewife, or stay-at-home mom.

I can't believe how cold it has been here, my grandkids told us we brought the cold weather with us when we moved to Texas from Colorado. I asked them if they wanted me to go back and take it with me. Guess their response! NO grandma.
