I am kind of glad Operation Ivy never became famous until they broke up. Did a number on Tim, but worked out in the end. I feel sorry for Jessie the most Happy to say he is making music again. Sticks to the op ivy sound also. He could have also just did what Tim did and would probably have been a house hold name.
Not his style though. He took a break because secretly think he was burnt out. Anyway, if Operation Ivy made it and lasted for 30 years. They would have actually lost respect by the so called true critics. This way they stand the test of time and no one can say they lost something. No can say they selling out. No can say there new music sucks compared to their old music. Will be one of the most original sounds ever just because society was late to the party.

Yeah, think he was a bit to pure if you know what I mean, but its cool, we all learn in our own way and him being around still is about as awesome for punk rock as it gets.

It is if you ever read up on it. Pretty tragic in many people's eyes that they broke up, but influenced music in a way I think most people do not know.
