Phase One Complete!

As some of you are aware, my girlfriend and I have been staying in an extended stay motel after getting priced out of our Manitou apartment.
Our plan is to get a van, a bunch of camping equipment, and travel around, camping, and seeing and doing things we haven't done or seen. We also plan on following bike races such as the Colorado Classic, the Tour of California, and the Tour of Utah. I also would like to follow a band or two around.
Well, step one is complete. We've got the van, a 1994 Plymouth Voyager. Other than some transmission work, it's actually in pretty good shape for it's age.
And it only cost $300!
In the meantime, enjoy some Judas Priest.

Dang - only for $300?! That's going to be an awesome adventure - you'll have lots to write about! I know this teacher's aide who was going to do the same with her boyfriend . . . they wanted to get a van and go from here to Canada . . . .and she wanted to blog or do youtube videos of it every step of the way. It started out at $1000, but they kept dropping the price until we figured we couldn't afford not to get it. Eventually, we will trade it in for something else.
