Never enough time, or motivation

I have mopped the kitchens, and made granola.I hand scrubbed some pots and pans. I brought in the wreaths and just might make it to bring in the garland.
Hubby is getting out of his mechanic clothes, and into something decent. We are taking son and family out to eat tonight, kind of belated Christmas.
It is too cold for him to get the thermostat replaced on the car. That is okay, we have two others we can drive. He is going to have our mechanic come get it and fix it at the first part of next week.
We have absolutely no plans for seeing in the New Year.
One year hubby surprised me and we went out and bought binoculars and went out to look at critters in the snow. Maybe we will do that this year, or maybe not.
We may stay home and cook.
This is where the motivation is lacking.

Here we are, last day of the year, cold. I am cooking to stay warm. It works. I have done a lot of my internet stuff and I am looking forward to it being slightly warmer tomorrow afternoon. If I were to bike it would have to be on a stationary bike.

@GardenGerty We would rent a house big enough for 11 and spend three or four nights there. It was a good time of bonding and enjoying each other's company.

It has never really been a thing for me either. I find that I really enjoy my own cooking.My daughter in law gets places really late, and they were more than a half hour late when they met us. It still was a good visit.

I will not do any special thing this year. Other years I have gone to Dixie´s house, but now they have visitors from out of the country and they will be out of town with them.

No plans here either..staying is safe and sound for the new year

Our mechanic friend is going to do it for us. We will pay him. We still have two running cars that will do until he does.It has been fun to have binoculars.
