Who Likes Potato Pancakes?

I had a craving for them and tonight I made a simple version with potato, onions, egg, a dash of flour, salt, pepper, and baking powder. I thought they were pretty good but after making them now see all the variations online...different textures and ingredients , so I'll try something different nextime. Do you have a favorite recipe for Potato Pancakes to share for my next batch ?

I just make them with mashed potatoes and they are good when I am done.

I'm sorry I have none since I don't cook at all. But I love potato pancakes and my favorite is the Korean potato pancake.

@Luap1050 The sauce. It is dip in a special sauce but I think it's just soy sauce with added spices but I have no idea what.

I like potato anything! Fries, mashed, roasted, but I don't make potato pancakes. I make potato salad with green pepper and some cheddar cheese grated over.

I like potatoes and making pancakes seems a good idea going by how easy it is to make them. Is baking powder necessary?

I think we can make things up with potatoes. I had tried survival spaghetti and added up shredded potatoes with shredded hot dogs.

They're not bad. I've made them one. I still have my Hungry Jack potato pancake mix. I might use it this month.

they are a favorite of mine! i usually just buy the box mix at the store, its usually in the ethnics section. theres a lot of boxes around easter, good friday.

@Luap1050 Those are a favorite for us Jews at Hannuka time. We call them in Hebrew Latkas. I went to a friend of mine for Hannuka and she made them and gave me some to take home. They are delicious and heavy. I have never made them myself.
