Memories

Moving into a new year always seems to bring back memories of the past year to mind. This past year has been a rough one for me.
My mother passed away in January. My brother and I are no longer in touch (for many reasons). My Pekingese Sammy died (he is still sorely missed). I have had two heart attacks and a mild stoke. I have been on bed rest for many of the months this past year. My youngest daughter had two heart attacks.
Now on to the positive part of this past year. We have had two new additions to our family - Hunter and Annabelle. Both of them are our miracle babies. I have seem my girls a little more this past year, they all live a few states away so it is hard to get together. All of my children, their husbands, and my grandchildren are happy and healthy.
I am feeling blessed that I am still waking up in the morning and able to get out of bed.
I am looking forward to a wonderful 2018. How about you?

That sounds close to the year 2015 for me except I was lucky enough not to suffer heart attacks.
I am simply praying that Mother Nature is no longer as angry with us as she was last year, otherwise for simply myself it was almost an uneventful year.
Let's hope 2018 is the light at the end of the tunnel.

@rebelann Last Friday when I refused to take my hubby to work cause of the ice was not at all kind. A man drove too fast on the interstate and the ice got him and took his wife away. The cops plan to slap him with a fine cause he drove too fast for the conditions. He has to deal with his guilt and a fine. I cry for him.

You didn't mention that your doctor is happy you're on the Whole30 diet with the results you're seeing.
I'm sorry about the bad news you've had this year, but the wonderful news is just that, wonderful. I hope 2018 is a much better and healthier year for you and your daughter.

@HazySue I'm glad you're looking forward to a better year, and your doctor is happy about this diet and the results you're getting. My next weigh in is tomorrow and I can't wait to see the new results. I already have the picture.

I am also looking forward to a wonderful 2018. I want to stay positive though I'm at the look out for something conflicting that's going to happen to us this year. I hope we all surpass it though and we would be able to deal with it the best way we could.

@HazySue I'm so sorry you've gone through so much, but you have the greatest attitude, and that's the most important part of life.

You had some hardships yourself this past year. Here's hoping this next year is a healthy and happy year.
