Baby It's Cold Outside

This morning when I dragged myself out of bed it was 27 degrees. Yes, believe it or not, it was below freezing.
I decided then and there that this was a good day to stay inside and catch up on some writing. I'm not going out in that weather for sure.
It's also a good night to make some beef stew and biscuits for dinner. I actually put everything in the crock pot before I got on the computer. It is happily bubbling away now and filling the house with an appetizing aroma.
So, what do you have planned for your day? How is the weather in your area?

@FourWalls Yeah, we used to have many people call into work sick of the cold, I mean sick with a cold.

If it were 27 here, which it will be this weekend, it would be a heat wave. Enjoy the stew - you're not having the biscuits are you? Just your husband will I hope. It does sound good. Stew sounds like a good idea and I do have all the ingredients for one.

The biscuits are for the hubby only. I couldn't eat them anyway even if I wanted to, I would have to chop them up. I don't like biscuits, I am sticking to the diet plan. I thought stew sounded good for today. You'll be glad you made it.

We are currently being hit with a blizzard today in my area (NJ). Temps are expected to be in the low teens till Monday. I would take 27 degrees right about now! I plan on making a nice bowl of soup, working on the computer, downloading and listening to my music playlists, and doing some article research. Oh yes, and eating some more of my Christmas cookies

@HazySue Thank you! I am in south/central NJ and we got 18 inches of snow yesterday. Sun is out today but the wind chill is -6 F right now, yikes!!!

Sunny! I woke up and checked my phone and saw that my niece sent me a video of a snow storm they're experiencing in New Jersey.
Have an appointment at the waxing salon and getting a bikini wax.

It is so cold here as well!! We are at 30 degrees here now. Staying inside and warm is my plan here. Lol

@HazySue not top cold at all. We got about 10 inches or so any now we are having heavy rain and strong winds. It is going to be icy in the morning,
