Im afraid of clowns ..

Not sure why but Im afraid of clowns. My mom told me once a boy was at our house dressed like a clown and he hit me and scared me. Ever since Ive been afraid of them, and just dont like them ..

I hate clowns- Party clowns? HATE them! Circus clowns ? HATE them! Happy clowns? HATE them! But. . . I do like killer klowns from outer space, rodeo clowns And the mute ones dressed in b&w stripes and always seem to be trapped in the invisible box.

@kayshope Probably because he hit you and scared you so that turned you off to all clowns. I have never had a bad experience with clowns so they do not bother me.

Clowns are also use to scare people in the scary movies. I wonder why. Ive never been afraid of clowns but I understand why you are considering your childhood experience. Could have been traumatic on your part.

Childhood fears stay with us. They also do look creepy, especially how they are portrayed in some movies, like the Joker in Batman.

i am afraid of clowns except bozo because i grew up watching him. lol
