How Come We Are So Close,So Intimate Friends ??

Let me tell you about a close friend of mine.
He never reads books whereas I am a book lover.I am interested in politics,he isn't.I love to play hockey and football,he is not at all interested in these games.I love roaming in jungles and he wonders why I am so "childish."
There is nothing we share,still we are close friends, so close that we can't live without each other.
I wonder how we are so close friends.
Is close friendship possible between people with different interests??

Of course. I have the same friend whom I share no common interests with but we COMPLEMENT each other and that makes our friendship so interesting.

@Shivram59 some relations cannot be explained it may be that opposites attract a reason of which there are people of two different choices or interests come close to each other more than those who have the same.

Yeah friendship is possible between people with different interests too.when there is different interests there will be different views there will be fights 
of misunderstanding.such misunderstanding leads to build good bonding in a relationship :).

@Icydoll How is it possible? How can misunderstanding create strong bonding between two persons? I have seen misunderstanding creating rift,differences and animosity only.

@Shivram59 yeah a fight because of misunderstanding between two can make them more understandable when they realize their mistakes after a clear explanation.
