3 Jan: Lying on the ground

We went to the park and played basketball again. My little girl and baby always enjoyed lying down on the ground, no matter where they are. They even lie down on the road. 
Since they were too young to play basketball, they sat down in the basketball court, then they just lay down. They seemed to really enjoy lying down on the ground. Later, my eldest son joined them too, though he doesn't always do so.
I wish I can be as easy as them to feel so comfortable to lie down anywhere they want. It's so nice to be carefree, but I was not brought up to be that way. My mom surely disallowed me to do so, and if she sees my kids doing that, she won't agree with it too.

I don't know if I have done that when I was a kid, but I am sure my mom wouldn't allow me to do so. I guess many adults here think it's too dirty to do so. Yesterday my kids were playing sand in the park, some other kids passed by and wanted to join them, but all their parents disallowed. One kid even asked, "Are we allowed to play with the sand?"
Perhaps I am staying in city, hence many city kids here don't play with sand and water anymore.

@kaka135 It depends if the ground is dirty you shouldn't lie down. Parents allow their kids to lie down if the place is clean. It's actually pretty normal to lie down on the basketball court, boys to do this a lot. It's a bad idea to lie down on the sand because it's dirty but lying down on the beach is pretty amazing.

I have never tried lying down on the ground. It must be fun to try!

Laying on hard surfaces didn’t effect me when I was young like it would now. I would fall asleep anywhere even on the hard linoleum floor. Was the pavement they were laying on in the photo warm? That can be very relaxing!

lol..its good to do taht in the park. you are definitely having a good time with your kids.
