Do You Complain Alot?

I am really working on this one. I find myself complaining about the roommates, cooking, work, no satellite hook-up, the winter weather, friends leaving me out. But then I found this article: What do you think?
Perhaps it is time to rewire our brains because as Christians, we are allowing our fault-finding to consume us and it is a nasty habit. Here is how complaining is stealing your blessings.

I do complain a lot at times. It is something I am working on as well. Im sure it gets really annoying for others.

Nope, not these days. The closer I grow in the Lord-the more I realize just how much He has done for me! =) Now I just want to be a blessing to others and I realize it is not about me and my comfort at all. It's all about love for others.

I think complaining should probably be my middle name. I am trying to complain less, just because I know it gets annoying for others after a while.

I'm not a complainer. I have a lot to be grateful for in my life, and the number one reason for being grateful is my relationship with Jesus Christ.

I rarely complain about anything. I only have to think about people with chronic illness or abusive relationships to be very, very thankful for what I have in life. Some people do seem to complain a lot though.

I'm actually on the other side of the spectrum. There are things in my life that I think can be improved if I just speak out, but I just don't have the motivation to demand. As with almost everything, balance is the key. Learn to be content with what you have, but don't suffer in silence just because you don't want to be seen as a complainer.
