Hello guys! How many of you are interested about box? Do you remember Muhamad Ali?In 1967, three years after winning the title, Ali refused enlistment in the United States Army for religious reasons, opposed to the United States' involvement in the Vietnam War . The US government refused to regard it as a conscientious objector , because Ali declared that he would fight in a war if that was what Allah or his messenger (Elijah Muhammad) would ask for. He was initially arrested and found guilty of eschewing from the military service, losing his boxing license the same day. For that reason, he has not fought for nearly four years, from 23 to 27 years, losing the peak performance of a sportsman's career. His appeal came to the Supreme Court of the United States, where in 1971 it was decided to cancel the conviction because the Appeals Board did not provide the reasons for not accepting the refusal of an objector of conscience. This made Ali one of the representatives of the generation of countercurrency .

State boxing comissions eventually did grant Muhammad Ali licenses to fight. And when he returned to the boxing ring in 1970, he KO'd a serious heavyweight contender of the late 60s and the early 70s Jerry Quarry. Float like a butterfly, sting like a bee...
