Since another group of students finished their exposure for the first time under me in IMCU, I thought of making their grades this afternoon. I can already write their final evaluation because we gave the whole class a 20-item examination yesterday, and I have completed their scores and grades as well.
I have a notebook which I use in the ward to evaluate my students. I thought I placed the notebook in my bag but when I searched for it this afternoon, I could not find it. I literally searched all of my bags, to no avail. Then I thought, maybe I forgot the notebook at IMCU.
I dialed the hospital number on the phone, and asked the operator to connect me to IMCU. Two phone rings were heard, and then a female staff answered my call. “Good evening Ma’am, this is Ingrid. May I ask if my notebook is there? I might have forgotten it last Thursday.”
The staff responded quickly, “Yes, Ma’am, it is here”. I exclaimed with joy, thanked them, said good evening again, and immediately put down the phone. I should not converse with her longer, because IMCU is a busy special area in the hospital.
Do you search for an item that you think got lost, or you just forget about it?

glad to know you find those things, but if a thing is lost for a couple of days, can you still retrace your footsteps where you think you lost it?

yes that is true. yesterday, i intentionally deleted a conversation/thread on Yahoomessenger from somebody whom i knew 3 years ago.

@ridingbet I lose things a lot. It's such a relief when they're finally found. I'm glad you found your notebook.

when we had our duty last Monday, we went directly to IMCU and asked the nurse on duty. the nursing attendant then brought out the notebook from the drawer and gave it to me. i am glad the notebook is back

I usually forget where I put things sometimes and I would think I lost it but it was just in front of me. ehehe

me too. when i look for something in my room, i can just shrug off my shoulders and say to myself, that it is not lost but just misplaced, and will come out later.

yes, i am glad the notebook is there. last Tuesday, ma'am S told us, before we were about to dress-out (removing our laboratory gown/scrub shirt) that "somebody left her notebook and i kept it here". i told her that was mine and i got it already.

Yes, I search for it.. This week, I thought I lost the HDMI slot cover of my old Nokia phone which has my main number. I just noticed that Wednesday afternoon that it's gone after bringing it to a store to reload and I also used it to capture some photos in my garden...
When I noticed that it's missing, I went back to the garden to look for it. It was already dark so I had to use a flashlight. It wasn't there. It's quite small so I thought I will no longer see it. I also searched for it in my pocket but it's not there.
Then I remember that I put my phone in my bag's pocket last Sunday when my mother and I went to Baguio. Yes! It's there!!! Hihihi!
