Recycling

I am not doing the recycling with the garbage company. I think it is very important to try to reuse. I try to recycle things that would ordinarily go in the trash. Like aluminum foil, plastic spoons, water bottles, plastic bags, and toilet paper rings. I can find all sorts of uses for these among other things. Do you try to recycle things or do you just throw it out and get new or some thing more?

Our garbage pickup includes a separate recycling service that takes glass jars and other recyclables away. Since China has stopped taking loads of it things may soon go to the landfills though.

I try to re-use things as well. It's eco-friendly, but cheaper! I just recently discovered a lot near me with recycling bins for glass, plastic, cardboard, and aluminum. I now have no excuse for not doing my part to help the environment. I re-use plastic bags more than anything. I also like grocery stores that invite you to bring back your plastic bags so they can recycle them.

I agree. Always find a lot of uses for the plastic bags.

I try to re-use and recycle what I can. It is my small contribution to preserve the environment.

I bring paper, cardboard, tin cans and jars to the local recycle center. Sadly they don't recycle used facial tissue though.

I try to reuse things and recycle but some things I think should just be thrown away like aluminum foil.

I save some if it is washable. If it's too far gone I trash it.
