My skin is sooo dry in the winter that it itches like crazy. I have treid so many different lotions, old timers kind, like salves almost, to expensive to cheap and some might work for a couple of hours and then here I go again. Anyone else get really super dry skin in the winter? Find anything that works?
The best I have found so far is Neem, Hemp and I think it is Creve or something like that. My mom gave me the last one to try.

My dry skin in the winter drives me crazy. I use different brands of lotion and at bedtime, use a little Vaseline on my feet and hands.

@Ithink Don't put too much and wear socks, which I always do anyway. I even rubbed a very thin layer of Vaseline on my hands at bedtime.

Oh yeah. And lets top it off with having to wash my hands twice a day extra clean for dialysis hook up and disconnect, that's two minutes each. Then I get bleach on my hands from the cleaning stuff to clean the connection and disconnection, so then I have to go wash my hands, again. This doesn't count all the other hand washing I do the rest of the day, and I do it a lot. So far, the best I've found isn't really a lotion, but a gel that I was given in 2016 for hand pain. It is Diclofenac Sodium Topical Gel 1%, and I got it as a prescription for hand pain, like I said. But it really has been the best for my dry skin this winter. Now, I also have Hillestad Dialyvite The World's Best Foot Care Cream, that is okay to use in the rest of the year, but it doesn't really help as much as dry as the winter has been.

Get some cetaphil soap and cetaphil lotion. You can use the soap without water, just wipe off the excess. It's perfectly safe. I used it on my babies when they had dry skin.

@Ithink You should be able to use it without any problems. It's hypoallerginic and very mild.

I get dry itchy skin in the winter also. I use suave lotion and it seems to work for me.

Got one online just recently that really has helped do wonders that has CBD oil in it, and that might be a consideration for you. Believe it or not the one I got has very little smell to it either.
