So the older, grown children have some special needs that qualify them for Assisted Living? I will have to check some of your other posts.

So true. I can't even imagine what would make them so mean.

@celticeagle I suspect that their level of intelligence is quite low.

That's horrid yet I don't see how one family could take all those people. I feel just awful for them. They will most likely always need support.

I would think they would come back together a lot. It's best for them.

I hope those parents receive a lengthy jail term - see what it feels like to be locked up.

I don't think the parents will last long once inmates get a hold of them.

@BearArtistLady ......Yes, I've heard many of those myself. The Turpins are in for quite a ride.

@celticeagle That is one thing about the prison system. Inmates don't allow child abusers and torturers to stay around long. Very often they are forced to endure what they put the children through. My father worked in the prison system in California, and he'd tell us what would happen to people who abused and hurt children. If I were the Turpins I'd be frightened outta my shorts!!!

I had thought they were all going to the same foster home I wonder why that changed.

Sometimes just being around the siblings that experienced the awfulness makes any form of recovery next to impossible. I still flash back to the awful things that happened to me and around me because of my male sibling. There may be connections within the group that the authorities don't want public because it could influence the trial...although seating an impartial jury will be a extremely difficult task!

Hopefully they'll be able to be reunited somehow in the future.

@celticeagle Yes, they have gone through a lot. It would be hard to be back to a normal lifestyle.

This is one of the worst cases of abuse I've ever heard. I'm wondering if some of the children had children together. I wouldn't put it past the Turpin monsters to encourage that. They seemed to want to amass as many children as they could. So very sad.
