Diary Wednesday 24th January 2018 Another day assisting university medical students, this time by relating my concerns about being overweight to see how sensitively they could handle personal life changing advice. All the students did really well, suggesting everything from gym use to more exercise in general and improving my diet. From there I headed to the community centre to use the job club for a few hours. Diary Thursday 25th January 2018 Another job club visit, and a final payment received from the post office work over Christmas which is very welcome. Diary Friday 26th January 2018 As the weather was unusually nice, I head out for a long photo taking walk around Chorley, Leyland and Lostock Hall, visiting a few pubs on route as well as taking photos of many others. I kept going until the light faded and caught a bus back into Preston. As I was attending and participating in a true-story telling night, on the theme of Resolutions (my script was used for my last post on here), I didn’t have time to come home, so I got a beer in a pub close to the Ham & Jam Café venue. As it happens the pub had many leaflets on offer including a map of pubs I had been photographing all day, and including a few that I missed, so the list will be handy next time I do my pub signs journey. The true story event was great and a very good way to end a fabulous day. Diary Saturday 27th January 2018 As my monthly local bus service ticket runs out on Sunday I had to get the next one today. The bus station shop closes on Sundays so I had to get the ticket today or I would have had to pay extra bus fare on Monday just to go and pick it up. Diary Sunday 28th January 2018 Very much a day in, tidying, sleeping, watching Youtubes. Arthur Chappell
