I did go to the pool first thing this morning, though before I opened my eyes, I tried talking myself out of it. I had a very bad headache. No worries, it was gone before I left the house for the pool. My oil light came on this weekend, so I went locating an oil place. I had called my son this weekend and he told me a great place to go that was cheap. It was. I found out they opened at 8. I had arrived straight from the gym. It wasn't yet 7:30 but the owner was there. I went home, had a bite to eat, worked a few minutes on my book, then headed back there to get the oil changed. They offer top off freebies between changes. I'll be taking advantage of that. Arriving home, I made an egg bake. I'm always changing up the recipe, and this one was very good. I put tomato, onion, and zucchini in it, blended in my Ninja with six eggs. I still have a little left, but not for long. I called the Social Security office to find out about Medicare as I turn 65 this year, to find out about them taking the payment from my small SS check. I found out they have a program where the state will pick up the premium. Good to know. Though I still need the supplement to cover what Medicare doesn't. Hopefully that won't be too much either. Now, I am out the door again as I need to get a very small amount of shopping done at Aldi. I need onions and bacon. I am out of bacon and I have one onion left. I also need bananas as I finished those off yesterday. I will return to continue the fascinating discussions I'm already seeing today, and get more work done on New Horizons. It's coming along very good. I should be at the place where I left off by the end of the day, and then I can continue moving forward to the end. Okay, I'm outta here. I will return.
