Another 3 weeks until it's out It will be another 3 weeks before I get the Catheter out, I just got off the phone with the district nurse. I know it seems like a lifetime away, but I understand why it is so. Okay, I’m not of overjoyed of having the Catheter in for that length of time but for things to be back to normal it needs to be. The medication needs to kick in and start to reduce my Prostate. I have at least 3 weeks before I will be going back to work so I’ll just enjoy the time away and get some knitting done and more time here amongst over things.

Oh wow that is a long time! Will you be able to get unemployment or something in the meantime so you aren't without money from not being able to work?

@Blondie2222 No, not really, I have plenty to do and I can go out if I wanted to, just have to be carefully and not walk miles

If it's what needs to happen then best to make the most of it as best you can. I guess they will keep your job for you?

From having it into having it taken out it will be close to 5 weeks. I've had one really good nights sleep, the rest of the time, an hour here and there.

@nela13 I think it just worries me, if it leaks or that I move around in bed and it pulls on me or something.
