ads on my sidebar

I wonder how I end up with the ads that get shown to me on here? This morning I've had ads for Pottery Barn Kids, DiscoverTheForest.org, and a clothing company I've never heard of before that uses fabric with NASA technology. None of them seem to be connected to anything I've looked up recently, although we used to go to Pottery Barn Kids for their free storytime a few years ago (not to buy things, my budget is too small for their prices!).
What ads do you see today?
