Preparing for the Sabbath today

We observe the Creation 7th day Sabbath and today is preparation day for Sabbath. My husband and I will be discussing and finishing the message and song worship agenda for tomorrow. I will make some cinnamon rolls and maybe a cake and some other items for church potluck and Zariah will help me. Preparing the songs for tomorrow we always include 4-5 children based songs like "Come Bless the Lord" or "This little light of mine" and one of the boys favorites is "The Lord's army" we have others as well we use at times. We include the children a lot in our services. They take the offering baskets around and we let them use the microphones during the children's songs and lead the singing. We have some laundry to do which won't take long and tidying up the house. Also preparing the Sabbath attire we will wear tomorrow and making sure the toy bags for the children at church are ready to go. We have 4 young children who attend. Because we rent where we attend services we have no place to leave the toy bags so we bring them home. I make sure they are all tidy and nothing missing for the children ages 2-9. The firewood for the weekend is up already thanks to our 20 year old grandson. Sabbath is the highlight of our week. Preparing for it is also a pleasure. By 6:00 p.m we will have dinner and clean up and then relax for the evening and visit, and watch a Christian based movie.
