Cheeseburger in Paradise... casserole?

Maybe I was inspired by @NJChicaa's post about the Jimmy Buffet musical opening. Maybe I just wanted cheeseburgers but didn't have any buns. Maybe I was struggling for something different -- ANYTHING different -- to make for dinner with the ground beef in the freezer.
And that's how tonight's bacon cheeseburger casserole was born.
How to describe this without making it a recipe post? It was ground beef, shredded potatoes, cheese, bacon, ketchup, mustard, and sauteed onion... and absolutely delicious. I put sliced pickles and chopped tomatoes on the table for people to add as they liked, along with more ketchup and mustard and Thousand Island dressing. Green salad on the side completed the meal.

Your bacon cheeseburger casserole looks delicious! I'm glad you put the ingredients for I'd like to try it one day. I love all in one dishes! I can add an English muffin...I just found some sour dough English muffins so it's just perfect together with a side veggie salad perfect! Thanks!

It was great. A salad was the perfect side for it too -- we already had our "fries" inside the casserole!
