Chinese New Year series: felt red packets

Chinese New Year is coming, which is just 2 days later. I would like to write something about Chinese New Year. Since a few years ago, I made two red packets with felt for my eldest son (I only had my eldest at that time). Ever since then, it became a habit for me to make my own red packets for my children. It's The Year of Dog soon, hence I just made these very simple Scottie dogs using felt. I know they don't look like normal red packets anymore, but I would like my kids to have fun with them and use them for play after Chinese New Year, instead of just putting them aside or throwing them away, so I just don't make the normal envelopes now. It's Valentine's Day today, wish everyone Happy Valentine's Day!

These are so cute! I think for Christmas next year I make some felt decorations for my tree. I saw lots of cute ideas for then on Pinterest.

Your little dogs are very cute - much better than plain old envelopes.
