Do you donate money frequently?

Last time when i was going training one grandmother asked me to offer some food.I don't have much money on that time even though i offered money to buy some food road side shop.I can't resist because of some sentiments. I personally won't donate instead i will buy some things offered by poor.I will then hand over those things to another poor and i will ask them to sell and eat ( usually a dozen of stickers , a dozen of handkerchiefs ,a set of cotton candy) this may trigger their mind to initiate a business.Just my views what about your opinion?
